Photography has been a part of my life for over 3 decades but a business for about 10 years. My love started at a young age of 10. Taking photos of my friends, our birthday parties, camp or my favorite thing landscape and clouds.
I took photography in high school (learned to use and love the dark room) but just did it for fun. After I had my children I really loved taking their photos and thanks to an amazing husband who bought me a camera I snapped a ton of photos of my children. Thankfully I did start with film, after switching to digital I learned the hard way the new way also is a faster way of losing info and photos. :(
I have my negatives from the beginning of my daughters early years and fortunately did print lots when I did get the first digital camera...so I have albums with those baby years...but did lose 2 years of digital photos when my computer crashed for the first time. It was devastating but still didn't learn from it like I should have...now I have many harddrives and prints in a shoebox which is better than not having them at all.
My advice to you ....PRINT AND SAVE IN MULTIPLE PLACES.
I love my job and plan on doing this for many more years to come.
Thanks for joining my blog..hope you enjoy my sessions that I will be posting families sneak peeks :)
